Before you print: pick the right one
A drawing that's great for a three-year-old is terrible for an eight-year-old, and the reverse. For little ones, look for large figures with few elements. For older kids, scenes with backgrounds, several characters, and details that demand patience. The step-by-step for a perfect print
- Paper: standard 75gsm copy paper is fine. If your child uses paint or markers that bleed, 120gsm is worth it, it won't wrinkle or bleed through.
- Scale: choose «fit to page» or «shrink to printable area.» That's what stops the sheet coming out cropped.
- Draft mode: a coloring page is black lines on white. Printing in «draft» or «greyscale» uses a fraction of the ink and looks identical.
